I loved this book! Whimsical and delightful.
Great for children and Adults.
Written so well, I thought I was there.
I hope to see this on film one day!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ranch life as it was from the pin of the last DKSlash cowboy
ByJohn Eoffon February 22, 2017
This is the real thing! A New York high school graduate hops a bus to Arizona to live the life of a cowboy. This book is really interesting for those of us who were born nearly a hundred years ago when rural life was the most dominant west of the 100th. Meridian. George even writes excellent poetry and his description of ranch life is accurate. He lived it and knows. George couldn’t crowd a pig in a chute without it running between his legs, and his thumbs are disaster zones from dallying. I think the cover photo is staged, however!
